When using the Shopify Bogus gateway or test mode, events will fire in debug_mode.

When previewing or designing a theme, all events will fire in debug_mode.

When adding a debug=true url parameter, events will fire in debug mode.

To filter debug traffic from your GA4 report you must explicitly exclude it with a developer traffic filter set to Active.

Debug mode will also log all events to the console.
